1. What is International Call Forwarding Service?

International Call Forwarding Service allows you to stay connected through your U.S.A mobile or landline number(s) registered with Reliance Global Call anywhere across the globe. The Call Forwarding Service is an alternate to the international roaming achieved through unique call forward feature.

2. How do I start using this service? 

This service is available exclusively for Reliance Global Call customers in USA.

To activate International Call Forwarding Service, please email customercare@relianceglobalcall.com to with following details;

  • Registered Phone Number (on which you wish to avail International Call Forwarding Service).
  • Travel dates : From date & To date.
  • Destination country
  • Local phone number of the destination country you are traveling to, on which you wish to receive your calls.

On successful submission of the details, you will receive access number via email against each selected registered phone number. Please note these Access numbers appropriately for your reference later.

*** Call forwarding service will be activated within 48 hours ***

You are not charged any additional amount for activating this service.

  • Forward all incoming calls on registered Reliance Global Call phone number to the respective Access number (sent via Email) before you start your journey.

  • With this feature, you can forward incoming calls to multiple registered phone numbers under a single Reliance Global Call account.

  • Please note you cannot use the International Call Forwarding Service to make calls within the home country.

  • For e.g. If your home country or country of residence is USA then you cannot make calls within USA using the International Call Forwarding Service

  • Also note that you will not be able to use the International Call Forwarding Service if you are registered with an auto generated number under Reliance Global Call service.

  • You are requested to specify a dummy phone number even if you do not have a valid phone number at the time of registering for the service. You may edit the number and specify a valid phone number at a later stage. However, please note that the service will be available to you in an effective manner, only if you specify a valid destination phone number(s).

3. What are the benefits of using International Call Forwarding Service? 

There are several benefits of using International Call Forwarding Service. The main benefit it offers is the convenience of being reachable through your local U.S.A. mobile or landline number(s) (any phone number registered with Reliance Global Call) anywhere across the globe at an extremely cost effective rate. No more missing calls, checking the answer machine / voicemail. Simply receive the calls as soon as they come and talk!

4. How do I forward the calls landing on my registered phone number(s) to the respective access number(s)? 

Call forwarding activation steps vary for individual mobile/landline operator. Kindly consult your operator and activate ‘call forward - All calls’, before you travel, i.e., call forwarding to work during no answer, busy, not available state. You may also verify option of activating call forwarding by contacting customer care of your mobile operator e.g. Cingular mobile provides this option to its users subject to certain conditions.

5. Will I be charged for the Access number(s)? 

You will be charged by your service provider to forward your registered phone number to the access number depending on your monthly tariff plan and resultant local/ domestic long distance access rate. We request you to check for the charges with your USA Local service provider.

6. From which countries will I be able to register for International Call Forwarding Service? 

Presently, you can register for International Call Forwarding Service only from USA.

7. While roaming in which countries can I avail this service?

You can roam in over 200 plus countries with International Call Forwarding service. To know more, please click here .

8. Is this service available in both Prepaid & Postpaid plan?

Yes. International Call Forwarding Service is available on both Prepaid and Postpaid Plans.

9. What are the access numbers for using the International Call Forwarding Service?

Once you provide the required details for availing International Call Forwarding Service, you will receive Access numbers against each registered phone number which you have selected under this service via email. There is no specific access number available for International Call Forwarding Service. The access numbers are generated automatically against each registered phone number on successful registration for the service. All you have to do is forward your calls from the (USA) Registered phone number to the respective access number before you start your journey to start using the service.

10. Do I get charged for calling the Customer Care number?

You will not be charged for calling customer care Toll free numbers but in case you call the USA/Canada Toll free numbers from any other country outside USA & Canada, then USA international calling rates shall be applicable.
Also, note you will be charged for calling the Mumbai local access number (022 39152600).
We request you to check for the charges with your service provider.
In case of mobile users accessing customer access numbers, airtime rates would be extra.
Kindly contact service provider in visiting country for applicable rates to call the customer care numbers.

11. Do you charge for International Call Forwarding Service?

As a special introductory offer, we do not charge you any monthly rental or sign-up fee for availing International Call Forwarding Service. However, you have to be our Reliance Global Call subscriber to use this service. Only per minute call forwarding rates apply.

13. How do I pay or recharge while roaming?

While roaming you can pay or recharge your account, online.
Prepaid Plan -
To recharge online, please log in to 'My Account', 'Balance and Recharge’ section.
You also have an option to activate Auto recharge feature for your account to avoid manual recharge procedure. To know more about Auto Recharge Click here.
Postpaid Plan-
Your bill is debited to your credit/debit card as provided during registration on the due date of the bill. It is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to the credit/debit card, including the date of expiry.

14. Can I check my call details?

Yes, you can check your complete call details.
Prepaid-
You will have access to your usage information - for the current month only - on the Website under "My Account>>Balance & Recharge>>View Current Usage".
Postpaid -
You will have access to your billing information – unbilled usage for the current month and bills for the prior three months - on the website 24 hours a day x 7 days a week under 'My Account'>>'Bills and Payments'.
The bill/invoice captures country-wise itemized call record data for roaming calls. The call data is reflected online within about 4 hours of completing calls.

15. Can multiple registered numbers in single account forward calls to more than one destination number?

Yes. Multiple registered users in single account can forward calls to more than one destination number (GSM/CDMA/Landline).

16. Can I hear the available minutes announcement for my account when I receive the call?(Prepaid)

In case you wish to check your balance then you can visit My Account>>Balance & Recharge link or by calling our Customer Care.

17. When I am on call, will the call get disconnected the moment my balance is over?

Yes. Your call will get disconnected automatically; once the entire balance available in your account is utilized. To avoid such kind of inconvenience, we request you to activate the Auto Recharge option in your account.

18. I have some amount left in my Prepaid account but still I am unable to receive any calls?

Please check if the balance amount is equivalent to a minute call. Incase of insufficient balance you may face problem in receiving the calls.
To avoid this you can activate auto recharge facility which would automatically credit your Prepaid account with the selected amount once you reach the triggered limit. To know more about Auto recharge feature please refer Auto recharge FAQs in the Feature link available on Home page Website header. Please note, you can recharge through Website only.

19. I have availed the International Call Forwarding Service but I forgot to forward the calls to the respective access number before starting my journey. What do I do?

Oops…! Once you avail International Call Forwarding Service you have to make sure that you do not forget to forward your registered Reliance Global Call phone number(s) to the applicable access number(s) before starting your journey. If you forget to forward the calls to the respective access number(s) then you would fail to use this service.
We suggest you consider one / all of the following options:

  1. Request a family member / friend / colleague to set up the International Call Forwarding Service back home.
  2. Contact the customer care desk of your USA service provider to set up the International Call Forwarding Service.

This way you will be able to use the service. In case either of these options does not work then we regret that you will not be able to use this service.

20. Which numbers can I forward?

You can forward any of your registered USA numbers where your service provider allows call forwarding as a feature.

Also, please note that in order to use the International Call Forwarding Service; you will first have to register these USA number(s) with Reliance Global Call Service and after that activate call forwarding onto the applicable access numbers

21. What is a local destination number?

This is a number that belongs to the country that you are traveling to. It could be a mobile or a land line number.
- It could be a number of your relative, friend or a business associate.
- It could be the number of your business center or office.
- It can be the number of some hotel, where you will be staying at.
- It can be the number of a SIM that you purchase when in the country traveling to or a country specific SIM that you purchased from USA.
The local destination number should be entered on the International Call Forwarding sign up page in the following manner:
For example,
If you want to forward your New York office landline number ----212-319-1417, which is registered with Reliance Global Call, to your residence number in Ahmedabad, India --- 91-79-2676-2626, during your travel, then your destination number should be entered as:

  • Select the destination country as India. (91).
  • Enter the destination local number along with the City Code of Ahmedabad and the telephone number as 7926762626.

22. I have a Mumbai mobile. I will be traveling to Ahmedabad. Will I continue to receive calls? What will be the charges?

In this case, you will continue to receive calls. The applicable charges do not change as you are within the same destination country, India. However, roaming charges may be applicable as levied by your mobile service provider in India. Please check the charges for the same.

23. Can I receive SMS/MMS / P2T / System messages?

No, you will not be able to receive any messages.

24. While receiving incoming calls, will I get to view on the local destination number (i.e., traveling country number), the phone number of the party who is calling my registered USA number? (Caller Line Identification/CLI)

The number which you view on the local destination number (i.e., traveling country number) depends on the Caller Line Identification passed on by the USA Telecom service provider and the destination/traveling country service provider. It is not under the control of Reliance Global Call.
E.g.
In case a partial CLI is received by an Indian Telecom service provider, from the USA service provider, then as per the regulations of ‘Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’, CLI of 301 will be passed.

25. Earlier I was receiving my forwarded calls on a particular number but now I want to change this number with some other number. Can I do that?
Or
I am in Delhi for 2 days and going to Mumbai after that, can I change the number to a Mumbai number?

Yes. You can change or replace the old phone number with a new phone number where you want to receive your incoming calls.
To change or replace the phone number, please visit My Account >> International Call Forwarding here you need to update the new phone number in the destination number field.

26. How many times can I change the Local destination number (traveling country number)? 

You can change the local destination number of the country you are traveling to, as many times as you want, simply by logging onto our website, and altering the number in the My Account>> International Call Forwarding section.

27. I am unable to receive any calls. What can be the possible reason? 

If you are unable to receive any calls then,

a. Please check the My Account>> International Call Forwarding section, to confirm whether you have entered the correct local destination phone number.
b. Please check the balance available in case you have opted for a Prepaid Plan. Minimum balance should be equivalent to a minute call.
c. Please check if there is no network issue in place where you are receiving the calls.
d. Please ensure that the numbers which you wish to use for the International Call Forwarding Service have been forwarded to the correct access number.

28. I am not receiving calls landing on one of my registered numbers. What could be the issue? 

If you are unable to receive calls landing on one of your registered numbers, then we request you to check the following:

a. Check if forwarding is active on this local USA registered number – you will need to call this number to check if the calls land on your local destination number.
b. Check if the line is active. – It may be possible there are some technical issues and your USA number is inactive. In such a scenario you will need to get in touch with the Customer Care of your USA service provider.
c. Check if the answering machine / voicemail is deactivated
d. Check whether the number is registered with Reliance Global Call – if not then register the number, with Reliance Global Call.
e. Make sure you do unconditional call forwarding from the USA registered phone number on the applicable access number.
