Its really simple to make international VoIP calls on landlines and mobile phones!!! – directly dial the international number from Reliance Global Call Application dial pad. You can also dial from phone book entries saved in the PC Application.

To make calls to other Reliance Global Call App users, select the particular contact and click on calling icon. You can also right click a contact and select the Call option from the various options displayed.

 

2. Do I need to add country code and area code while making a call?

Its just like any other call to make an international/local from your Reliance Global Call App.

Directly dial the number from the dial pad, you need to  dial the phone number along with country code followed by area code.

If you want to directly call from the phone book, please make sure that contacts are saved with appropriate country and area codes.

Yes, we know sometimes it’s necessary to block the ones who are intrusive. You can click on the contact who you wish to block, go to contact profile and press block. You will not receive calls or messages from the blocked contact on Reliance Global Call App.

To unblock a contact, simply click on the ‘Contact’ in ‘Contacts Section’ and press unblock.

 

5. Can I send instant messages using Reliance Global Call App PC App?

We know Instant Messaging is integral part of our day to day life’s. Reliance Global Call App offers you this as additional feature, send Instant messages to other Reliance Global Call App contacts.

Note: If the contact is offline, the message is delivered to the recipient as soon as she/he logs in.

 

6. I closed my chat by mistake in the between a chat session, can I view my chat history.

Yes, it’s very easy. You can view the chat history for the same login session. Initiate the chat again with the same user and all you chat details will be there.

No, this feature is exclusive for our Reliance Global Call App mobile application. Hence, to do that you need to download and activate our mobile application.

Yes, this is specially for you as the roaming charges can be really high with others. With Reliance Global Call App you can make your international calls at cheap calling rates even on roaming.

 

Conference Calling and Video Call

 

1. Can I make conference calls using Reliance Global Call App PC App?

Yes, you can make conference calls using Reliance Global Call App PC App. You can connect up to 3 calls at the same time.

 

2. How can I start conferencing?

With Reliance Global Call App you can converse with more than one person at the same time through our conference calling feature. You can add people to conference by simply pressing 'Add Call' and repeat the action to add more people. Up to 3 people can join the conference besides the initiator of the conference call. Conference Call feature is available for audio calls only.

Please Note: The conference button appears when a minimum of 2 calls are connected. Also, you can take only one active phone call in conference in a single session the other 4 calls can only be App to App Calls.

The 'start conference' button changes into stop conference button once a conference call has been initiated. Click the stop conference button to discontinue the ongoing conference call.


 

3. How can I remove a participant from an ongoing conference call?

To remove a participant from an ongoing conference call, click the hang call icon to remove a contact you had put in conference. The rest of the contacts will remain on conference and you can continue talking to them. You can click the add contact button to put the removed contact in conference again.

The conference automatically stops if you keep removing the participants from the conference until just one call is left in the conference.

 

4. Can I make Video Calls using Reliance Global Call App PC App?

Yes. Video Calling is offered for FREE between Reliance Global Call App Users. Choose contact to call and click Video Call symbol to initiate the video call

Note – Video Calling can be carried out only between two Reliance Global Call App Contacts who are online anywhere in the world Currently, we don't support conference facility with video call.

 

5. Can I start video call during an audio call with the same contact?

Yes, Click on switch to audio and your call will be converted to audi call from video.

 

6. Is it necessary to have a webcam to make and receive video calls on Reliance Global Call App?

Yes, you need a webcam to make and receive video calls. Hence, all the parties involved in a video call need a webcam installed and active before they start a video call.

 

7. What are the charges for making video calls through Reliance Global Call App PC App?

Video calling is a complimentary feature that does not cost you anything extra. Video call can be made with Reliance Global Call App contacts only.

 

8. Can I make simultaneous video calls?

As of now we are supporting only one video call at a point of time.

Yes!! You can enable the sign in automatically by opting for ‘Sign-in automatically’ option before logging in.

 

3. When I am trying to call a particular number it is showing “This Call is blocked”, why is that?

Reliance Global Call App does not support calls to all phone numbers in every country. Some of the special numbers are blocked due to guidelines of the country or internal policies and cannot be reached using Reliance Global Call App.

 

4. Why does Reliance Global Call App crash on my PC?

Reliance Global Call App may crash due to outdated software drivers, Operating System issues or application in compatibilities. Make sure your system settings are updated and match with minimum system requirements specified mentioned here.


 

5. I am getting an error “Reliance Global Call App server not responding” while signing in to the Reliance Global Call App PC app. What should I do?

Kindly check your internet connection settings and try signing in again. Please make sure you are not behind firewall/proxy which prevents the PC app from connecting to the internet.

The problem can be due to the following reasons:
1.     Voice Echo
Try changing the audio device being used by the person you are calling: If they switch from speakers to a headset, the sound quality should be much better.
Your microphone can pick up noise from your speakers, so if you use speakers, keep the volume low.

2.      Background Noise
To avoid background noise you can try to find a quiet location to call from. Move your microphone closer to your mouth and away from noise sources like your computer’s fan. Use high quality headsets and handsets. Built-in microphones in computers and webcams are more prone to picking up background noise.
